Bulgarian brothers banned from tennis for corruption

Two brothers from Bulgaria were provisionally suspended from skilled tennis for corruption.

The Tennis Integrity Solidarity says 24-year-old Karen Khachatyran and 19-year-old Yuri Khachatyran “are ineligible to compete in or attend any sanctioned tournament arranged or known” through the game’s governing our bodies. Their suspension took impact on Saturday.

The TIU didn’t expose what the brothers can have achieved.

Karen Khachatyran has a rating of No. three,021 in singles. Yuri Khachatyran is No. three,126.
