Michael Wright, a former College of Minnesota big name who led grocery wholesaler Supervalu Inc. for 20 years, has died. He was once 81.

Wright died Monday at his house in Wayzata of headaches from pneumonia, Wright’s son, Adam Wright, instructed the Celebrity Tribune.
