The person who gunned down John Lennon out of doors his Ny condominium in 1980 used to be denied parole for an 11th time, state corrections officers mentioned Wednesday.
Mark David Chapman used to be denied after being interviewed by way of a parole board Aug. 19, in keeping with corrections officers.
Chapman, 65, is serving a 20-years-to-life sentence at Wende Correctional Facility, east of Buffalo.

Chapman shot and killed the previous Beatle at the night time of Dec. eight, 1980, hours after Lennon autographed an album for him.
He has mentioned prior to now that he feels “increasingly disgrace” annually for the crime.

“I used to be too a ways in,” Chapman instructed a parole board in 2018.
“I do take note having the considered, `Hello, you’ve got the album now. Take a look at this, he signed it, simply pass house.’ However there used to be no manner I used to be simply going to move house.”
Chapman’s subsequent parole listening to is scheduled for August 2022.
