Manchester United defender Victor Lindelof has been thanked through Swedish police for catching a thief who robbed an aged girl.
The incident came about in Lindelof’s house town of Vasteras, which lies west of Stockholm, and was once reported through the Aftonbladet newspaper on Monday.
Requested for remark through Sky Sports activities, United showed the tale.
A police remark mentioned a person in his 30s using a bicycle snatched a bag belonging to a girl in her 90s on Monday morning.
“A person who was once within the neighborhood is claimed to have run after the suspected wrongdoer, stuck up with him and held him till the police arrived on the scene,” police mentioned, with out naming Lindelof.
“The police need to take the chance and thank the witness for a fast and sensible intervention.”
The girl who was once robbed has advised Aftonbladet that she want to thank Lindelof through purchasing him lunch.
The arrested guy faces fees of annoyed robbery and minor drug offences.
Lindelof made 35 Premier League appearances remaining season as United secured a third-place end underneath Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
