Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes’s councillors elected Marie Cau as mayor on Saturday

A trans girl in France has gained election in her native commune to grow to be the rustic’s first overtly transgender mayor.

The council in Tilloy-lez-Marchiennes in northeastern France selected Marie Cau as its new mayor on Saturday.
