Memory-Lane Monday: Sneakynet

This contractor pilot fish is at a shopper website online — and, as same old, he and his cohorts are coping with problems that weren’t at first pondered once they had been introduced in.

“The community was once going loopy,” fish studies. “This was once a large website online, with a whole lot of routers and subnets, all sparsely segregated. One thing was once hosing this giant time, and sniffers informed us we had been seeing ‘contamination’ between subnets.”

Fish and his group sooner or later pin down the place the contamination is going on. It’s in two subnets in adjoining wings of the company construction: those for the prison division and tool construction.

So fish and his group come to a decision to stroll the ground to peer if they are able to spot anything else out of the extraordinary.
