Shaquille O’Neal’s words are coming back to haunt him.
And the words aren’t the lines from the movie “Kazaam” (6% on Rotten Tomatoes).
Golden State Warriors coach Steve Kerr poked fun Monday at a video clip of O’Neal from 2004, just days after the big man was traded from the Los Angeles Lakers to the Miami Heat. O’Neal was praising former coach Phil Jackson in the clip, saying no coach would ever match Jackson and take a team to the Finals four out of five years, which he did from 1999-2004. (The Lakers also won three titles.)
It just so happens Kerr has accomplished that feat. He took the Warriors to five Finals in a row between 2014-19, while guiding a dynasty that has won three titles in that timeframe.

O’Neal stated if this sort of feat ever took place, he’d kiss that trainer’s toes at the display “Concern Issue,” which now airs on MTV.
“With cheese on it,” O’Neal stated within the clip. “I can. It’ll by no means be executed once more.”
Kerr stated former participant David West forwarded him the clip, and took to Twitter to jab at O’Neal, who then responded by way of announcing, “Be certain it is draft cheese.”
Kerr traded for O’Neal in 2008 when he was once common supervisor of the Phoenix Suns. Kerr has 8 blended NBA championships — 3 as a trainer and 5 as a participant. O’Neal went directly to win any other championship with the Warmth, giving himself a complete of 4 rings.
