A South Korean guy set his flat on hearth after which stabbed development citizens as they attempted to escape, killing 5 other people, police instructed native media.
The youngest sufferer was once a 12-year-old and 13 others had been injured – 3 of them seriously.
The unidentified 42-year-old suspect was once detained and police say an investigation is ongoing.
He instructed police he dedicated the crimes out of anger about past due wages, in line with Yonhap information company.
The suspect set hearth to his personal flat in a residential development in Jinju, a town in southern Korea, at round 04:29 on Wednesday (19:29 GMT Tuesday), police instructed native media.
He then randomly stabbed his neighbours within the development stairway as they had been evacuating.
He was once detained on the scene after any other resident alerted the police. Fireplace-fighters extinguished the flames in his condo some 20 mins later.
Police instructed South Korean media that he was once no longer intoxicated on the time.
